Small groups are a powerful means to bring the lost to Christ. A lot of the children and even adults we have in our churches have lived their lives in fractured families that have hindered them from forming meaningful friendships. This year we are trying to fill that gap in a variety of different small groups that foster close personal interaction which we pray will also lead many to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. George who works in the Timothy Leadership center in Haiti is a great example of the "kicking" power of small groups. Many of the young men in his karate class are now attending church. Both Pastor Dial's church and our own here in the D.R. have started weekly small group Bible study's in the homes of different members. In addition, every month this year I'm hosting a meeting with a group of men on "Raising Modern-Day Knights" by Robert Lewis. Pray that God will provide a school bus that we can use to transport many of these new friends to church on Sunday's.
